CHARACTER OUTLINES

Pierce Force.

Colonel Jim Raga.
Agarian origin - a veteran soldier serving with Network Marine for several years and fighting many campaigns; a well-decorated officer who has fought his way up through the ranks to become Commander of the Network’s elite Special Forces Team - Pierce Force.

Raga commands loyalty and trust from his team, and is passionate about the welfare of those who serve with him, his superiors and men respect him. His one downfall is that he tends to drink heavily after a costly mission.

Captain Pala Toms.
Agarian origin – Pala is a long time friend of Raga and the bond between them is unbreakable. Raga assigned Pala as his 2nd in command on receiving his command of Pierce Force. Like Raga, Pala holds the total loyalty and respect of the team.

Pala is the sensible officer who always thinks things through fully before committing, and is reluctant to bend the rules even when required to do so by Raga. He is a modest, dependable officer and confident in his own ability and that of his comrades. Pala will follow Raga wherever and mostly without question.

Captain Cap Beeta.
Capstan origin – a member of the dark skinned Capstan Warrior Cast and 3rd in command of Pierce Force for the last two years. Raga, and Pala hold a strong tight friendship with Cap, a friendship that has saved their lives on many occasions.

Cap Beeta is the teams rebel and often charges into a situation without due thinking. Raga usually manages to keep him in check and out of too much trouble. He is the “joker of the pack” a mischievous rogue, sometimes stubborn, temperamental and contradictory, but will always be there to back you up when needed.

Qwerti
Lithian origin – Qwerti is a bit of a mystery, a reclusive loner. Once a high-ranking officer in the Lithian military, he commanded the Fayad Brigade (Lithian Secret Service) who was charge to hunt down the last of the robotic Drepan species at the end of the Drepan wars, and the Lithian hierarchy keeps his past secret. He was headhunted by Network Command when the Fayad was disbanded and is on permanent assignment to Pierce Force as Chief of Lithian Scouts.

Qwerti is passionate in his unwavering loyalty to Lithia and is methodical and unprejudiced in all he does except when it comes to the Drepan. Qwerti holds a deep loathing of the once dominant robotic race and is ever watchful for signs of their rise. He is the best in his field and uses his knowledge to train other Lithian as scouts for the Network when not of a mission with Pierce Force.

Phoenix Command.

Command Admiral Ral Torre.
Agarian origin - Torre is an experienced, proud, and confidant officer who has gained respect from his fellow officers and crew. He has commanded the Network Carrier Phoenix Pride for the past six years, and expects and gets unwavering loyalty from all who serve under him. He is a veteran of numerous military campaigns and a highly decorated officer.

Torre is a mild mannered man who rarely loses his temper and keeps his composure in most circumstances. However, he can be aggressive when needs be, especially when a battle situation arises. He is an expert at tactics and strategy, and has often used this and his cunning wits to pull the Phoenix out of a dyer situation.

Command Captain Mittvn.
Agarian origin - Mittvn is a reliable and highly competent officer who has commanded the Phoenix under Admiral Torre for 5 years. He is highly proficient in communications and expert in engineering.

Mittvn usually goes by the book and is confidant in all he attempts. He is a reliable and trusting officer to have on your side in a tight situation, and was recommended for the captaincy of the Phoenix by four members of the high command. Admiral Torre leaves the day-to-day running of the Phoenix to Mittvn knowing she is in expert hands.

Lieutenant Commander Norret.
Agarian origin – Norret is Chief Communications Officer aboard the Phoenix, and is proficient in her field. She is a competent tactician and is a qualified linguist and translator, and can speak fluently upwards of eleven alien dialects.

Norret is a helpful and cooperative officer but has a volatile temper if provoked. She is not adverse to bending or breaking the rules if required to do so by the command team of the Phoenix though to everyone else she is a by-the-book officer with an exemplary record.

Chief Medical Officer Ferl Collona.
Agarian origin – Doctor Collona is a professional with a kind, warm, and generous heart. She is devoted to her chosen profession, and is determined in her approach in medical matters. Collona graduated with honours from the Waii Institute of Medical Excellence and has been the Phoenix’ CMO for 4 years.

Collona is strong-minded and will not back down when countered on something she has set her mind on. She has total control of everything medial on the Phoenix, and has often had words with Admiral Torre when things have not been up to standard as far as medical supplies are concerned. The well being of those onboard the Phoenix is her primary concern.

Intelligence General Mi Hancy.
Agarian origin - Hancy is Chief of Phoenix Intelligence, a well-liked officer, a man of distinction, confidence, and reliability; an intelligence gatherer of excellence with the ability to turn his hand to most situations. He is the backbone of Admiral Torre’s strategies, and Pierce Force often relies on his word.

Hancy counts Colonel Raga among his closest of friends, along with Admiral Torre. He has the friendly ear of Second Admiral Satamon the Network’ 2nd in command. Hancy commands the admiration of most he has contact with, with the exception of one Phoenix office he gets along with everyone.

Network Command.

First Admiral Jerrico Spate.
Agarian origin – Spate is the Supreme Commander Network, the highest-ranking officer in the military; a man of considerable scope and experience in all things military and political. He holds total control over the Network and all ship or troop movements. Every military campaign is passed through his desk for approval before being assigned.

Spate heads the high command in a permanent position, he cannot be removed from office not even by the Coalition President. He is the only non-DCO person to have supposedly set eyes on Director Aaron Quinn.

Second Admiral Satamon.
Waii origin – Satamon comes from a medical background but is a master at tactics and warfare. She holds a get-it-done attitude, and can’t stand unreasonable failure. She is often found to be somewhat wary of Spate’s authority but will challenge his decisions if the need is warranted.

Satamon gained her rank though stubbornness and determination, and although an accomplished doctor chose warfare to be her main occupation, however she still heads the Waii institute of medical expertise.

Space-Martial Tansk.
Agarian origin – Tansk is the Network’s war-horse; a well-seasoned commander who has won many a campaign and collected numerous accolades not only from the Network but other worlds as well.
Tansk sees his word on battle tactics as final, only bowing to Spate’s higher rank. He is known for arguing with fellow officers when they challenge his decisions. More often than not Tansk gets his way, and it usually pays off.


Coalition Assembly.

President Lurth.
Ventekian origin - Lurth is the foremost diplomat, the Coalition’ 12th elected president and has been in office for three terms (15 yrs). Lurth’ election came after the brutal assassination of his predecessor by extremists.

Lurth is a member of the Ventekian Academy of Diplomatic Excellence, an honoured and esteemed establishment who holds honour above all else. Ventekian’ are truthful, sincere, responsible, distinguished and confident. He is a shrewd and accomplished politician that has coaxed many new systems to join the unity of the Coalition.

Ambassador Ooli.
Lithian origin – Ooli is one of the founder diplomats of the Coalition, a formidable statesman, proficient negotiator, and an acclaimed member of the Lithian Congress. Virtually all other diplomatic delegates hold an admiration for him and his accomplishments.

Ooli is often found to be in the heart of debate no matter the subject. He is passionate for diplomacy and his views on most things are usually open and optimistic. He is a fervent defender of individual rights of Coalition members, and is an ardent supporter of the openness of the Coalition Assembly.

Ambassador Xxan.
Kodo origin - Xxan is a stalwart leader in the Assembly, an accomplished negotiator of several awkward treaties, and successful in bringing peace to a few aggressive planets. She can be aggressive in her passion for politics, and is a firm believer in democracy who will eagerly argue a point until its completion.

Xxan’ long and colourful career has been tempestuous and lively, noticeably in her resolve to bring to justice and prosecute the extremists who assassinated the late president. She pursued her objective until all those involved where captured, and she puts the same determination into all she does.

Ambassador Morka.
Tanteee origin - Morka is a member of the Tanteee Imperial house, a trustworthy and considerate man who always looks for the good in others. He is a Statesman of the highest calibre, loyal to his species and friends. He is one of only a few who are privy to Tanteee’ planetary defence shield codes.He is the first Tanteee to attempt to align Tanteee with the Coalition, and is the Assembly’ newest delegate.

Morka hold a high position within the Nor-trell, Tanteee’ powerful religious sect, and is trusted with the knowledge of the highly secret Nor-trell vaults. He holds a command rank within the Nor-trell Guard along with his diplomatic status.


Directorate of Covert Operations.

Director Aaron Quinn.
Origin – unknown. Director Quinn is a mystery, an unseen shadow, a recluse who is self-centred, devious and powerful. Quinn seldom leaves the safe haven of his fortress space station Capa Morna. Although his identity is unknown to most, most fear him, including the Assembly. When needing to venture from Capa Morna, Quinn is usually preceded by an entourage of Black Brigade, the DCO’ Terror Troops.

Quinn’ power is second to none; one word from the Director and planets fall, economies crumble, and people disappear without trace. Inside the Coalition nothing goes on without Quinn’ knowledge. He is untouchable, a spectre who wealds his fist of brutal controlling power over all he wishes.

Commissioner Shatrish.
Nailian origin - Shatrish is Director Quinn’ lackey, he is weak and cowardly but cunning and treacherous. He fears the unseen and unknown, but more than anything or anyone else he fears his superior. Shatrish thrives on the power he gains from being associated with Quinn, and often uses this power for his own twisted ends. He is hungry with a desire to continually prove useful to his master, though at the same time strips whatever he can to boost his own fortune.

Shatrish refuses to have the standard universal translation device implanted at the base of his neck as is standard with all Coalition members, instead he uses a translator box that sits on his neck. Being of Nailian origin he breathes a different atmosphere and need the constant use of an inhaler to exist outside his own planetary atmosphere.

Major Sorya.
Drepan Hybrid origin - Sorya is an abstract being, a hybrid of the long dead Drepan Robotic Species. Sorya works for Director Quinn, but is untrustworthy and deceitful using the DCO’ resources to fulfil his own needs. He favours his own survival above all others, and will eliminate anyone should the need arise. He is the ultimate covert agent, a master of espionage and assassination.

Sorya is able to change his appearance at will by using his inbuilt Drepan virtual video system making him a perfect infiltration agent. He is the last of his kind and secretly holds a passion to rebuild his dead race, and often works in seclusion on his own master plan. Knowledge of Sorya’ existence is kept secret from everyone albeit Quinn and a select few within the DCO realm; should the Assembly, and especially the Lithians find out Sorya would be hunted down and executed and those responsible for his continuing existence would face harsh penalties.

Tanteee.

Emperor Zix.
Zix, although young in coming to the throne is a kind, honourable, compassionate ruler, a man of his word who rules with fairness and mercy. A man adores his life partner the Empress Clin without question and will give his life in her protection. He believes Tanteee must expand and move out to join the other systems; this has led to him sending Morka to negotiate entrance into the Coalition.

Zix relies heavily on his military chiefs and Nor-trell Lantra to advise him; Grand Martial Goor Commander of the military is his closest friend. He distrusts the Provincial Lordsmen; they are split in their loyalty to the Empire, and Lord Temacaman of the Berriani edges the provinces towards civil war.

Grand Martial Goor.
Goor commands the military with unchallenged authority. He is strong willed but patient and listens to his high commanders. He has an unwavering faith to duty, and above all is extremely loyal to the Imperial family.

Goor served Zix’ father until his untimely death, and with the help of the Nor-trell has managed to keep the provincial Lordsmen from tearing each other apart He distrusts Lord Temacaman greatly and for this reason has agents within the Berriani camp.

Nor-trell Lantra.
The Lantra is the head of the Nor-trell religious sect; a powerful and wise leader, with the wisdom of those who held the position passed before. The Lantra has untold powers, powers that can visualise the future and past, with his thoughts he can control other Tanteee’ actions.

The Lantra and Nor-trell are revered and feared by the provinces and their Lords; none have yet tried to front the Nor-trell in battle. The Lantra keeps the secrets of Tanteee’ past locked within the Nor-trell vaults; only Nor-trell are allowed to enter the vaults.

Colonel Lal.
Lal is related to Ambassador Morka and is a member of the 1st Imperial house. He is a honourable man who will give his life in the name of Tanteee. The Nor-trell Lantra and those who rule respect him. He is honest, caring and gentle and approaches most things with an open mind, but has a fiery temper when called for.

Lal is a master tactician and strategist and is fluent in Nor-trell combat. Grand Martial Goor who hopes that one day Lal will head Intelsect the Tanteee intelligence department closely watches his military career. Like Morka, he will become a close trusted friend of Pierce Force’ Colonel Raga.
