FUTURE EXPLOITS

Space Brigade II. The Syndicates Revenge.

The impenetrable DCO security vaults on Jurass are infiltrated; the infiltrator absconds with vital information that can bring about the downfall of all DCO operatives; any attempt to recover the information must fall to those outside the DCO. The perpetrator of the theft is discovered to be Tamon Sanc, a notorious killer in the employ of Syndicate Governor Shakara Vane; Sanc has returned to his mistress with the information and remains under the safe umbrella of the Valora Syndicate.

The recovery operation is placed with Phoenix Intelligence General Mi Hancy; his orders, to mount a stealth team with a view to infiltrate the Valora Syndicate, locate the stolen information and retrieve it at all costs. Hancy is given a DCO directive naming those who should be used in the operation; the team will consist of Pierce force Colonel Raga, Captains Beeta and Toms, Rats Major Vadier, and DCO ultra-stealth agent Rain Canta, who turns out to be an old flame of Raga.

Infiltration into the Syndicate is set up by the DCO, Raga’ team will go in as negotiators of the IAC, Intergalactic Agro-business Corporation; Governor Shakara Vane expects these negotiators.

The seed of deception is evident when a DCO agent turns up to receive the information; the DCO director has struck a deal for the safe return of the information pins; the price is the lives of Raga’ team.

General Hancy, not happy with the turn of events tries to help Raga’ team unofficially. Hancy, along with Phoenix Admiral Torre are arrested by the DCO and held for court-martial, the charge, conspiracy to infringe the Valora/Coalition treaty.

Governor Vane has an old score to settle with Canta, while Sanc holds a grudge against Raga. When the meeting takes place to exchange the pins Canta is killed; Raga enraged, attempts to kill the DCO agent but is rendered unconscious by a new player in the game.
The agent returns the information pins to the DCO leaving Raga and his team to fend for themselves.

Now on the run from Syndicate enforcers, and being hunted by Sanc, Raga’ team has to find a way off world and safely back to Coalition space. Their only way out is to steal a ship from Sanc’ fortress, however the fortress is heavily guarded and gaining entry is only the beginning of their problems; one of which is Sanc’ dreaded death guards. Will Raga and his team be successful? Will Hancy and Torre be convicted? Will the DCO get away with their deception or will they finally be found out?

Space Brigade III. Hassi Technology.

Pava Three has been ravaged by civil war for several months and the Network are engaged in putting down the rebellion and reinstating Pava’ leader. However, the Network commanding officer is failing, suffering unacceptable casualties, and is replaced by the Networks warhorse Space martial Tansk. Tansk guarantees to retake Pava within months with the aid of Pierce Force. Pierce Force, temporarily commanded by Major Tantis is in the midst of a training exercise on Favi Four; they are immediately recalled to active duty. Colonel Raga is currently acting as ambassador on Tanteee, a duty he is not happy with.

Cosa, an insignificant planet in the Torokian sector suddenly becomes of interest to the Network when its garrison is wiped out. An investigator is dispatched to Cosa where it is found the garrison was destroyed by aliens excavating with the Cosan dead zone, an area where no energy exists. Network High Command decide it is more important to send Pierce Force to Cosa; Tansk is not pleased.

On arrival at Pava three, Tansk is informed the Network forces commander has been captured, the price for his life is Tansk’ agreement not to land his reinforcements; also the rebellion is headed by the Cordilla, a Vootra warlord. Tansk agrees but sends in the Rats to regain the commander; unfortunately the Rats are lead into a trap and captured.

On Cosa Pierce Force locate the aliens and it is found they are the same species that have taken Pava. The Vootra excavate for an ancient starship that crashed on Cosa long ago.

Raga is informed of Pierce Force’ operation by Ambassador Morka, he states they are in grave danger. Raga wants to know why and wishes to leave Tanteee to rejoin his team. Morka takes Raga to the sacred Nor-trell vaults where he is shown what the Vootra are trying to excavate. The Tanteee have a working Hassi starship, a starship so powerful the Tanteee refuse to activate it, and if falling into the wrong hands could lead to universal domination.

The Hassi technology is capable of destroying any starship of known technology; it can destroy worlds by consuming all life force. The Hassi has a transporter system that can transport over great distance, the Vootra want to use this technology to reinforce the Cordilla on Pava Three.

Raga must rejoin his team and try to halt the Vootra before they can activate the Hassi. A fleet is sent by the Network along with several ship from Tanteee to destroy the Hassi craft should it gain orbit. The Hassi gains orbit but the combined efforts of the Network and Tanteee are not enough to stand against its mighty power. When all is thought lost, a vast starship belonging to the highly secretive Executive arrives and takes on the Hassi might. Will the Exec save the Galaxy or will the Hassi dominate?

Space Brigade IV. Mainstream.

Something is wrong within the Network, something that others cannot see. Several high-ranking officers break away from the Network and form an Alliance to fight whatever is changing the Network command structure. The leader of the Alliance believes high placed ranks have somehow been altered to act against the well-being of the Coalition.

The illusive Executive have made overtures towards the Coalition with a view to opening a dialog; several members of the assembly are chosen to travel to an Executive world to meet with dignitaries of the Executive, among the chosen is Tanteee Ambassador Morka, who though reluctant to enter into this venture because Tanteee is entering a stage of civil war agrees to act as mediator for the assembly.

While travelling to pick up Captain Beeta from the medical planet of Waii, Raga and Toms’ ship comes under attack, they manage to escape destruction via an escape pod; the pod crashes on Galigos, a planet on the far reaches of Coalition space. Raga soon learns that Galigos has been overtaken by the mind control species the Nasus. Toms is captured and the Nasus begin work on transforming him into one of their mindless slaves. Somehow Raga must alert the Network of the Nasus infringement while trying to rescue his friend from the Nasus’ clutches.

The newly formed Alliance believes the DCO are behind the strange personality changes in Network personnel. One of their agents manage to infiltrate the DCO’ Capa Morna space station, where evidence is found that the DCO are building a vast covert army of manpower and ships hidden from the Coalition and Network on a reclusive distant planet. It appears it will be up to the Alliance alone to face the DCO’ might and end whatever they are up to.

Who gave the Nasus the codes to the frontier barrier allowing them to infiltrate Coalition space? Will Raga rescue Toms or will he fall to the Nasus? Why have the Executive chosen this time to make advances to the Coalition? Will Tanteee fall under the pressure of civil war? What are the DCO trying to accomplish and will they succeed? Will the foundations of the Coalition and Network crumble? Only a fierce and bitter battle between the Network, the Alliance, and the DCO will decide the outcome!
